True Wisdom

As the world sees my vision blur,
My obligations break,
My obvious reactions fade
And my body decay,

They think my sanity is gone
But it is now that I know true wisdom

My vision blurs,
My senses are away from earth
But it is now that I behold you



My obligations break
To them, I am not in accordance
But it is now that I dance with you

My obvious reactions fade away
To them I am insensitive
But it is now that I feel your softest touch

My body decays
To them I am gone
But it is now that my soul has returned home to you, Shiva.

It is solely in you that I know true wisdom.

Friends for Life…

17 th  June, 2014  was the exact day I was feeling  aggravated.  I  didn’t  know   wh y but I   felt  like  nothing  near  me  could  make  me   feel  better,  not money,  not my favorite  actor and  not  even  chocolates!  I was missing my friends, my four friends who make up my life. I wasn’t able to contact them that day.  When I would break down, they would pick me up. Whenever I  realized  I  am  worth  nothing,  they   hid  this  simple  truth.  Whenever  I  need  to  weep,  they  give  me  their  shoulders.  When I  laugh , they snicker.  When I merely smiled, they would  smile  from  ear  to  ear.  When I wished to pour my heart out, their ears were  ready  to  take  in every word. When I felt lonely, they  showed  me  I  am  not alone.  When I was over confident, they kept my feet on the  ground.  When I lacked self-confidence,  they  gave  me  vigor.  When I ended in trouble, I  could  see  their  foreheads   strained.  When  I  was  on the verge of  transformation  into

A Battle Against The Downpour

Little, glimmering and delicate pearls were falling down from the heavens. They were ready to hit any surface and burst themselves, dividing them into multiple tinier ones. They were as soft as velvet and as desirable as the genie’s three wishes. They drenched everything in their way, and cooled down its temperature, making it calm. I went out of the dry shade I was under. The indiscriminate drops gradually soaked me in their swampy nature too. The soft shower couldn’t cool me down. It brought back memories of happiness that made me gloomier. Once it had brought smiles to me but, now as it reminded me of my grins, it took them away simultaneously.   I sat down on the fresh grassy plot, not being in a state to ponder on what other people would think of me.
