A Letter To The Plants By A Little Girl

Hey Plants,
How are you? You appear happy! Don't you get bored and tired standing at the same place all the time? Still, you've a grace within yourselves. How is that?
People have so many tensions. Do you ever worry about something? Do you give each other scary looks or do you have lovers?
I hope you guys can love someone of a different variety!
A wind just blew and I saw your leaves nodding. Are you trying to say 'yes'?
Where are your parents? Do you live with them? Do they name you? Are even some on you called beautiful?
What all do you learn being at the same place?
I hope I could be like you for a day but could move. I hope your world doesn't have a high crime rate.
Does it hurt when I pluck a flower? How do you feel in autumn?
Give me a clue back.

17 th  June, 2014  was the exact day I was feeling  aggravated.  I  didn’t  know   wh y but I   felt  like  nothing  near  me  could  make  me   feel  better,  not money,  not my favorite  actor and  not  even  chocolates!  I was missing my friends, my four friends who make up my life. I wasn’t able to contact them that day.  When I would break down, they would pick me up. Whenever I  realized  I  am  worth  nothing,  they   hid  this  simple  truth.  Whenever  I  need  to  weep,  they  give  me  their  shoulders.  When I  laugh , they snicker.  When I merely smiled, they would  smile  from  ear  to  ear.  When I wished to pour my heart out, their ears were  ready  to  take  in every word. When I felt lonely, they  showed  me  I  am  not alone.  When I was over confident, they kept my feet on the  ground.  When I lacked self-confidence,  they  gave  me  vigor.  When I ended in trouble, I  could  see  their  foreheads   strained.  When  I  was  on the verge of  transformation  into

A Battle Against The Downpour

Little, glimmering and delicate pearls were falling down from the heavens. They were ready to hit any surface and burst themselves, dividing them into multiple tinier ones. They were as soft as velvet and as desirable as the genie’s three wishes. They drenched everything in their way, and cooled down its temperature, making it calm. I went out of the dry shade I was under. The indiscriminate drops gradually soaked me in their swampy nature too. The soft shower couldn’t cool me down. It brought back memories of happiness that made me gloomier. Once it had brought smiles to me but, now as it reminded me of my grins, it took them away simultaneously.   I sat down on the fresh grassy plot, not being in a state to ponder on what other people would think of me.
